Job summary

Playa Bowls is seeking a New Store Openings Associate in New Jersey to lead and support the rollout of new shops. You will train franchise crews, ensure pre-opening readiness, and coach teams through opening and post-opening phases to deliver consistent Playa Bowls service.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and a hands-on, customer-centric approach to onboarding. Expect collaboration with operations, marketing, and franchise partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively to support new shop openings.
• Strong communication and listening skills with ability to work independently.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with multitasking and attention to detail.
• Great customer service instincts and a team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate pre-shop opening crew training for a franchisee's first shop and future openings.
• Coach franchisees and teams through opening and post-opening phases to ensure success.
• Monitor labor scheduling, product quality, and guest service to uphold SURF standards at openings.
• Assist with vendor issues and guest complaint resolution during openings.
• Perform knowledge checks for platforms like POS, TapMango, Chatmeter, GroupMe, and Sysco.
