Job summary

Playa Bowls in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee shop operations in the absence of a manager. You will supervise opening and closing shifts, ensure food quality, and maintain a fun, high-energy environment.

You bring leadership, exceptional customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. The role includes training, full-time benefits, and a team-oriented culture at Playa Bowls.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 5 shifts a week, minimum 30 hours.
• Must be available on weekends as business dictates.
• Must pass PB Food Safety certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food quality during each shift; ensure freshness.
• Delegate tasks to support smooth operations.
• Lead opening and closing shifts with consistency.
• Process refunds accurately and professionally.
• Address guest concerns in a courteous, solution-focused manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and end-of-day counts.
• Count and reconcile register, safe, and deposits.
• Maintain timely communication with management.
• Ensure tasks align with company standards and procedures.
• Model Playa Bowls mission, values and culture.
