Job summary

Local Crafts in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Distribution Center Manager to own daily operations at our production and distribution facility, serving wholesale brands. You will establish SOPs, staffing plans, and lead a growing team to build scalable workflows.

You'll drive accuracy, inventory control, and throughput, partner with cross-functional teams, and champion safety, OSHA standards, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing multi-department operations or end-to-end fulfillment.
• Track record of building or improving processes and standardized workflows.
• Experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, or small-parcel distribution.
• Strong analytic and problem solving, data-driven decisions.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and automation.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of daily operations at Grand Prairie facility, including receiving, inventory, picking/packing, and outbound shipping.
• Build the operational foundation for a brand new site with SOPs, staffing plans, and coverage.
• Lead and mentor managers and teams, fostering accountability, safety, and improvement.
• Drive improvements in accuracy, inventory control, productivity, and throughput as the site scales.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Act as a power user of WMS, ERP (NetSuite) and automation systems, ensuring system-driven workflows.
• Maintain a safe, clean facility that meets OSHA standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, and training for new staff.
