Job summary

HD Supply in Flower Mound, TX seeks a Distribution Center Leader to run DC operations in support of company goals. You will provide input on operations planning, financial management, and inventory control, and partner with the DC Manager on strategy and execution.

The role leads a team of supervisors and hourly staff, ensures safety and Hazmat compliance, and drives process improvements, budget adherence, and performance development. Travel may be required to support network-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a distribution center, including 3+ years of management experience.
• BS/BA in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to DC Manager for operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations.
• Identifies financial resources necessary to support operating plans and participates in budgeting.
• Implements process improvements and analyzes asset utilization; communicates results to DC Manager.
• Leads associates to ensure safety, Hazmat compliance, and HR policy adherence; ensures security of staff, facility, equipment and inventory.
• Manages performance of Assistant Manager and/or hourly staff; coaches and takes corrective action.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
