Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Brand New Civil Project Manager to join a leader in land development, utilities and drainage design. You will provide project oversight, manage engineering scope, schedules and budgets, and interact with clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope according to technical standards, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules and budgets
• Maintain a high level of quality and responsiveness to client requirements in alignment with Lynn Engineering standards
• Interact regularly with clients, maintaining current relationships and developing new relationships
• Assist with preparing project permit applications and coordinating with the approving agency
• Obtaining approval of project plans and specifications from reviewing authorities
• Assisting clients with bidding and awarding construction projects
• Oversee civil engineering design activities and QA/QC
• Focus on public works projects with emphasis on surveying, lift stations, hydraulics and hydrology
• Focus on subsurface utility engineering, water and wastewater design, and construction management

Job Details

• Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope according to technical standards, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules and budgets

• Obtaining approval of project plans and specification from reviewing authorities.
• Assisting clients with bidding and awarding construction projects.
• Oversee and assist with civil engineering design activities and quality assurance and control. Designs vary but are mostly public works projects. The firm provides professional services for a wide range of projects with an emphasis on:

• Surveying
• Lift Stations
• Hydraulics and Hydrology
• Subsurface Utility Engineering
• Water and Wastewater Design
• Construction Management
