Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Brand New Civil Project Engineer with expertise in land development, utilities and drainage design in Oakland Park, FL. The role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $160,000 per year and requires a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a PE license, plus experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ICPR.

The successful candidate will design and permit site layouts, grading and drainage schemes, erosion controls, stormwater systems, water/sewer networks and roadway elements,

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
• Coordinate project submittals and regulatory approvals; obtain construction permits.
• Provide technical/design support and liaise with project manager and team members to ensure timely delivery.

Job Details

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design. This individual will also provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects reporting directly to their project manager. Applicant must be able to communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs, produce reports in technical writing format, and correspond with other team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner. Must have the ability to coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.

Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License Required
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ICPR
• Must have strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience with design of land development projects preferred.
