A skilled nursing community is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Weekend Warrior position. The RN will be responsible for patient care, ensuring effective communication, and supervising support staff. Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of Wisconsin or eligible for licensure by reciprocity (in good standing).
• CPR certified.
• Must be English literate.
• English literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care per care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess residents and report changes promptly.
• Document care in the EMR
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

Position – Registered Nurse (RN)Weekend Warrior

Location: Holton Manor–Elkhorn, WI (on-site position)

Schedule: Days | PMs | NOCs | Weekends – True Flexible scheduling - you choose what fits your schedule

Job Summary

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients/residents through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, family members, responsible party and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN plans, supervises and evaluates care of each patient/resident. The RN ensures that the status of the patient/resident condition is effectively communicated to the physician.

Compensation

Weekend Warrior Program – choose one of the following 3 levels:

Select Level: base hourly wage +$5.00/hour (every other weekend)

Pro Level: base hourly wage +$7.00/hour (3 weekends per month)

PLUS shift differentials - $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Preferred:

Long‑term care or skilled nursing experience

Supervisory or leadership experience
