Montello-Care-Center in Montello, WI is seeking a clinically competent Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Warrior to provide high‑quality care across shifts, including days, PMs and NOCs. You’ll manage patient care plans, administer medications and mentor CNAs, while collaborating with physicians and the health team to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

The position offers flexible weekend scheduling with incentive levels and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin or eligible for reciprocity.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be English literate with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care per care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess residents and report changes promptly.
• Document care in the EMR.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Summary

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients/residents through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention,implementationand evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, family members, responsiblepartyand other health team members, whilemaintainingstandards of professional nursing. The RN plans,supervisesand evaluatescareof each patient/resident.The RN ensures that the status of the patient/resident condition is effectively communicated to the physician.

Compensation

Weekend Warrior Program – choose one of the following 3 levels:

• Select Level: base hourly wage +$5.00/hour (every other weekend)
• Pro Level: base hourly wage +$7.00/hour (3 weekends per month)
• PLUSshift differentials - $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RN licenseinstate of Wisconsin orlicensedin any U.S state and be eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity.(in good standing)
• CPR certified

Preferred:

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience
