Job summary

Emerald Technologies in Saline, MI is seeking a New Product Launch Engineer to lead the introduction of new products, ensuring conformance to customer requirements and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with engineering, production and quality teams, perform feasibility studies, monitor progress, and provide hands-on troubleshooting during launches. A Mechanical engineering background and strong PM skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• New product development launch and Stage Gate experience.
• Proven track record of delivering products and/or processes to launch with differentiated fit, form and function.
• Experience Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Significant cross functional experience interfacing with sourcing, quality, and manufacturing within product development.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and hands-on prototyping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the launch of new products into production, ensuring smooth transitions and Successful implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to develop and execute launch plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during the launch process to resolve any issues that may arise.
