Emerald Technologies is seeking a New Product Launch Engineer in Saline, MI to lead the introduction of new products, ensuring conformance to customer requirements and on-schedule delivery.

The role requires coordinating launches, collaborating with engineering, production, and QA, and conducting feasibility and risk assessments to mitigate issues while driving timely project completion. A BS in Engineering and strong PM and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing.
• New product development launch and Stage Gate experience.
• Proven track record of delivering products to launch with differentiated fit form and function.
• Experience Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Significant cross functional experience interfacing with sourcing, quality, and manufacturing.
• Superior written and oral communication skills; strong strategic thinking.
• Desire to work hands-on, prototype and troubleshoot proactively.

Responsibilities

Qualifications of the New Product Launch Engineer:

• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Strong strategic thinking skills
