Job summary

New Standard is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead the launch of new products for key customers. You will manage cross-functional teams, develop budgets and schedules, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

You will implement new manufacturing processes, create and maintain engineering data (drawings, BOMs, routings, PFMEA, work instructions, QC plans), and collaborate with tooling to validate gauges. Strong PM, GD&T, and Lean/Six Sigma experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and direct manufacturing experience.
• 5–7 years of project management experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in NPI programs, PFMEA, APQP and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the manufacturing launch of new products for key customers.
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets and timelines.
• Communicate project status to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering data: drawings, BOMs, routings, PFMEA, work instructions, QC plans.
• Collaborate with tooling engineers to design and validate tooling and gauges.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and new manufacturing technologies.
• Interpret GD&T, complex assemblies, and process requirements.
