Vertiv is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to participate in the development process and provide technical support for Vertiv solutions. The role ensures safety, serviceability, and service business goals are met while collaborating with global technical leads for consistent execution and service readiness for the new products portfolio.

The position will provide technical guidance in service offerings and warranty execution for third-party components, including involvement in design

Competenze

• Minimum three years of field service or two years of technical support experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate and present to executive management.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based technologies.

Mansioni

• Interface with R&D, Regional Offering, and product management to implement the Global Serviceability Specification on new products.
• Coordinate with manufacturing centers to share ECN and SFA information.
• Provide technical guidance to Marketing in development of scope of work documents and new services.
• Develop service plans for new products and support warranty activity for third-party components.
• Represent Vertiv Services at design reviews and product reviews.
• Assist in the design, testing, and Start-up evaluation of IMS products from a service perspective.
• Develop source material for field service manuals and training resources.
• Provide on-site technical assistance as required.
• Collaborate with Logistics for parts research, spare kits, and parts sourcing.
• Lead documentation and tips for service updates and field notices.
