Job summary

CodePath is seeking a payroll professional to own assigned payroll cycles end-to-end, from timecard close through reconciliation, including exempt and non-exempt employees. You will ensure accurate processing and collaborate with the Accounting team.

You will back up the Accounting Manager, review timecards, prepare journal entries, and help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years owning full-cycle multi-state payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned payroll cycles end-to-end, from timecards to reconciliation.
• Process payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, including overtime and bonuses.
• Back up the Accounting Manager across all cycles.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Review timecards and respond to payroll-related inquiries.

• Process new hires, terminations, and pay changes, and review timecards.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years owning full-cycle multi-state payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour compliance.
