Job summary

Duke Fertility Center in Morrisville, NC seeks a New Patient Coordinator to be the first contact for new fertility patients and referring providers. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, records coordination, and support services integration within the fertility care team.

The role requires a healthcare or scheduling background with strong customer service, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills. Monday–Friday days, with professional phone representation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree generally required or equivalent healthcare/scheduling background.
• 2 years' experience in healthcare or healthcare scheduling; 3 years of relevant work experience (call center, scheduling, financial clearance, customer service) required without degree, or with Bachelor's degree: 1 year relevant experience.
• Preferred candidates: strong customer service, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills; fertility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule all new patients (and partners where appropriate) with attention to scheduling guidelines.
• Oversee review and collection of patient records and coordinate with the clinical team.
• Educate patients about their fertility journey and upcoming milestones; coordinate referrals as needed.
• Triage onco-fertility patients and schedule within 24–48 hours.
