Scoot Education is seeking enthusiastic substitutes to support students across classrooms and common areas. You will follow lesson plans, supervise activities, and help maintain a positive learning environment in partner schools.

Ideal candidates have a teaching credential or 30-day permit, a passion for education, and prior experience in special education settings. Roles are hourly and non-exempt, with weekly direct deposits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college credits obtainable.
• Three professional references including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:
