Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking dedicated substitute educators to support classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias. You will help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, following teacher lesson plans and communicating with school staff.

Ideal candidates have teaching credentials or permits, plus experience in education settings. Scoot offers paid training, weekly direct deposit, 401k enrollment, and a referral program for long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits required.
• Three professional references including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in various settings (classroom, playground, cafeteria).
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment with student engagement.
• Manage classroom routines and transitions, following lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff and leave feedback for the returning teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits

• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit

What Youll Do:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
