Job summary

Banner Health invites new graduates to join the New Nurse Experience (NNE) to transition into a professional RN role. You will be clinically mentored on assigned Banner Health units with a structured training plan, including simulation—enhancing skills for independent practice.

Successful candidates will reside within a reasonable commute and can expect 12-hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotations, geared toward building competency and career development in nursing.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact licensure).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in the clinical area is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Coordinate with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document care processes and patient responses accurately.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students when appropriate.
