Job summary

Honda is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead new model activity within North American Power Sports & Products. You will manage parts lists, schedules, budgets, and countermeasures, delivering monthly rolls ups to leadership and ensuring accurate cost planning for high-impact programs.

Travel is 1-2 times per month, with potential international trips. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience (or 9+ years without) in PS&P or automotive fields, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years of experience with degree or 9+ years without degree in PS&P or Automotive preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Honda Purchasing systems; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement department through each new model development by controlling parts list, schedule, target achievement, maker layout, event conditions changes, budget checks, and countermeasure planning.
• Prepare monthly roll ups for division leadership to highlight critical issues and status against goals.
• Coordinate with purchasing, design, project management, cost innovation, and manufacturing on report accuracy and impact of countermeasures.
• Execute special projects or studies to improve new model development KPI’s.
• Support training for team leaders and buyers on event accuracy checks.
