Job summary

Lennar is seeking a New Home Consultant to guide buyers through the home purchase process from engagement to closing. The role requires proactive sales techniques, customer relationship management, and strong knowledge of the housing market to ensure a seamless experience for buyers.

Responsibilities include engaging visitors, generating and closing sales, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining model homes and Welcome Home Centers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage visitors, establish relationships, and determine home buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy.
  • Generate, process, and close home sales through leads, leveraging the 10-5-2-1 selling approach.
  • Provide timely follow-through with customers from initial contact through closing and post-closing activities.
  • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs for timely resolution.
  • Travel locally to generate leads from Realtor/Co-Broker referrals and proactive self-prospecting.
  • Develop knowledge of competitive market and Lennar's offerings, trends, and demographics.
  • Monitor daily customer traffic using company tools.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for smooth transactions and satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings and marketing initiatives to drive sales.

Job Description

New Home Consultant – The New Home Consultant is responsible for guiding homebuyers through the purchasing process, from initial engagement to closing. This role requires proactive sales techniques, customer relationship management, and a strong understanding of the housing market to ensure a seamless experience for buyers.

Your Responsibilities On The Team
  • Engage visitors, establish relationships, and determine their home buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy.
  • Generate, process, and close home sales through self-generated or referred leads, leveraging the 10-5-2-1 selling approach.
  • Provide consistent and timely follow-through with customers from initial contact through closing and post-closing activities, maintaining accurate communication records.
  • Maintain the condition of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Travel throughout the local community to generate leads from Realtor/Co-Broker businesses, referrals, and proactive self-prospecting.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive market, including product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and customer demographics.
  • Monitor and record daily customer traffic utilizing company-designated tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transaction and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools.
  • Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset and ability to work independently.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

Regular, in‑person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function. May require the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
