Job summary

Lennar is seeking a New Home Consultant to guide homebuyers from first contact to closing at Lennar communities. You will apply proactive sales techniques, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth purchasing experience.

Responsibilities include engaging visitors, managing leads, coordinating with internal teams, and staying knowledgeable about Lennar's neighborhoods and offerings to drive sales and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, process, and close home sales through self-generated or referred leads, leveraging the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach.
  • Provide consistent and timely follow‑through with customers from initial contact through closing and post‑closing activities, maintaining accurate communication records.
  • Maintain the condition of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Travel throughout the local community to generate leads from Realtor/Co‑Broker businesses, referrals, and proactive self‑prospecting.
  • Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the competitive market, including product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and customer demographics.
  • Monitor and record daily customer traffic utilizing company‑designated tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transaction and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or a related field.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
  • Regular, in‑person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job.
  • May require the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment.
  • Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Compensation & Benefits
