Job summary

GlobalFoundries is hiring a New College Graduate to join the Test Development group, focusing on silicon photonics for data center and HPC applications. You will develop automated optical and electrical test solutions for PICs, analyze device performance, and support technology development and product qualification.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Photonics, Optical Engineering or related field with a 3.0 GPA, English fluency, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Photonics, Optical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
English fluency (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and document optical and electrical test plans for silicon photonic ICs in Linux using Python and C/C++.
Characterize devices with I-V, C-V, optical loss, wavelength response and related metrics.
Improve high-speed test methods using various instruments and perform data analysis and reporting.
