Ascension is offering a Nurse Residency Program at Providence in Waco, TX for new graduates or early career nurses. Begin in Winter 2027 with start dates in January 19 or February 15, and participate in mentorship to build confidence and clinical skills in a patient-centered environment.

You'll complete structured transition-to-practice experiences, collaborate with a dedicated RN preceptor, and contribute to safe, coordinated care with a focus on professional growth and readiness for

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• RN license credentialed by the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited program in nursing required.

Responsabilités

• Partner with your RN preceptor to support patient care through observation, documentation and clear communication.
• Assist with physician and nursing care plans to deliver safe, coordinated care.
• Monitor, communicate and document changes in patient condition.
• Strengthen clinical thinking and judgement through structured transition-to-practice experiences for safe, competent care.
