Ascension's Nurse Residency Program in Waco, TX invites new graduate and early career nurses to join a structured transition-to-practice experience. You'll work in Providence, with dedicated mentorship to build confidence and clinical skills as you transition into professional practice.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
• RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with your RN preceptor to support patient care through observation, documentation and clear communication.
• Assist with physician and nursing care plans to help deliver safe, coordinated care.
• Monitor, communicate and document changes in patient condition.
• Strengthen clinical thinking and judgement through structured transition-to-practice experiences that support safe, competent, person-centered care.
