Ascension in Waco, TX offers a Nurse Residency Program designed for new graduates and early career nurses. You will work nights in a full-time capacity within the Providence facility, starting in Winter 2027.

The program emphasizes hands-on mentorship, structured transition-to-practice experiences, and collaboration with RN preceptors to build confidence and clinical skills. Eligibility includes a Diploma in Nursing and Texas RN licensure, with BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• RN licensure as required by Texas Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with RN preceptor to observe and document patient care.
• Assist with care plans and ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Monitor and document changes in patient condition.
• Support transition-to-practice experiences to build confidence and clinical judgment.
