Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ offers a Comprehensive New Graduate RN Residency Program as a full-time Registered Nurse role. New grads will be mentored in Banner facilities with a minimum 12-month unit assignment across multiple pathways, including potential leadership and non-bedside opportunities.

Most new grads work three 12-hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotations. Successful candidates should have recently graduated from an accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred, ADN considered at

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• BSN preferred; ADN considered at select locations.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per policy.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Delegate and supervise care while maintaining patient safety.
• Document care timely and accurately in the patient record.
• Mentor and support new staff and participate in unit leadership.

Education

RN degree / Nursing diploma
