Job summary

The Nurse Residency Program at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT invites new graduate RNs to join the March 2027 cohort. This full-time RN residency offers paid clinical training, mentorship, simulation-based learning, and hands-on experience to build confidence in your first nursing role.

Starting pay is $38.37 per hour with benefits and structured in-person learning, monthly meetings, and opportunities across units such as ICU, OR, NICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN).
• RN license (or ability to obtain by start date).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate).
• Plan: Develops a plan of care with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Implement: Coordinates and delegates care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate: Monitors outcomes and revises the care plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintains licensure, documentation, and ethical standards.
