The New Graduate RN Residency Program is accredited and designed to transition new graduates into practice through structured mentorship, university clinical hours, and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN License or multi-state compact to practice in Montana.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program with at least 250 clinical hours.
• Must have completed Nurse Residency program enrollment steps.
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC certifications may be required depending on assignment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professionalism, civility, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of patient care policies, safety, and responsibilities.
• Comply with Logan Health standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain equipment per department standards.
• Document clinical findings accurately in the medical record.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per policy.
• Reassess patients and respond to condition changes with appropriate interventions.
• Communicate significant patient changes to the provider promptly.
