Qualifikationen

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years and obtain a BSN or a Master's in Nursing within seven years.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• No prior nursing experience required.

• Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self; attends education programs and uses patient education materials.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes; participates in interdisciplinary evaluation of care.
• Implementation - Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems and plans care accordingly.
• Leadership - Develops professional goals and supports interdepartmental collaboration.
• Patient Assessment - Recognizes data to determine priorities and plan care; supports discharge planning.
• Planning - Collaborates with patient/family to update the plan of care using multidisciplinary resources.
• Research - Reads journals and brings ideas to the team for assessment of applicability.

Graduation from a school of professional nursing.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher within seven years if hired after 2014
