Job summary

Banner Health is offering a full-time New Nurse Experience (NNE) residency in Tucson, AZ for new graduates. The program provides a collaborative environment to refine nursing skills, transition to professional practice, and explore multiple career pathways within Banner Health.

Successful candidates will be clinically mentored on a unit, with shift norms of three 12-hour shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Recent graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current and valid RN license
• BSN preferred - open to ADN at select locations
• Current BLS card (through either American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date
• No More than 12 months of RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice.
• This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction.
• This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
