Job summary

Banner Health is offering a New Nurse Experience (NNE) residency for recent graduates in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time program places nurses on specific units with clinical mentorship, aiming to transition new graduates into competent, professional nurses.

You will rotate three 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations, and participate in a comprehensive training plan including simulation, competency assessments, and EHR orientation.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BSN is preferred - open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS card (through American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before start date
• No more than 12 months of RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in transitioning from new graduate to fully competent nurse through a structured residency
• Be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators on assigned Banner Health facilities
• Engage in competency and skills verification and training in Cerner EMR
• Participate in patient care activities and on-shift responsibilities with a supportive team
• Utilize learning opportunities in Banner Simulation Center and e-Learning modules
