Job summary

Banner Health offers the New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN residency program for new graduates in Arizona, providing a collaborative learning environment, precepted clinical experiences, and opportunities to advance into specialty units or leadership roles. The program includes state-of-the-art simulation, competency verification, and Cerner EMR orientation.

Candidates must be recent graduates with a nursing program and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN is preferred – open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS certification.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care.
• Coordinate and implement nursing care with the health team.
• Document care and communicate status to physicians and care team.
• Support orientation and onboarding through preceptorship and mentorship.
• Promote patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice.
