Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC, is offering the HCA Nurse Residency Program—a year-long paid initiative to transition student nurses into registered nurses with hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured learning.

As an RN Resident you will engage in advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and collaborative care with the team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build confidence for independent practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state
• BLS within 30 days of employment
• ACLS within 1 year of employment
• No prior experience required
• Some travel may be needed for training

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as an RN Resident
• Assist with admission assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps
