Job summary

Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC, is hosting the HCA Nurse Residency Program, a year-long entry pathway designed to turn Student Nurses into competent registered nurses through hands-on experiences and expert mentorship.

The RN Resident will receive structured clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and collaborative patient care while being supported by experienced nurse leaders and educators.

Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state.
• No previous experience required.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under supervision.
• Assist with transition from student nurse to registered nurse.
• Participate in learning experiences, preceptorships, and evidence-based projects.
• Engage in educational sessions and hands-on simulations.
