Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care across the continuum, performing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with established policies and standards.

This role emphasizes coordination of care for patients and families, compliance with MA Board of Nursing rules, and ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or BSN; BSN preferred.
• Current MA RN licensure in good standing preferred before start date.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; ACLS may be required in some units.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care.
• Deliver direct patient care across the health care continuum and educate patients and families.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice established by the agency.
