Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate care across the health care continuum. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and family-centered care in line with established nursing standards.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in MA, BLS certification, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. BSN is preferred, with pathways to complete BSN for those without it.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN). BSN preferred.
• Candidates who do not have a BSN must enroll in a Baccalaureate program within one year and complete BSN by the end of the four year anniversary of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and coordination of care for patients and families.
• Deliver direct patient care and professional performance per MA Board of Nursing regulations.
• Coordinate care across the health care continuum with adherence to policies and standards.
