Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a New Nurse Experience (NNE) RN for a full-time night shift to transition new graduates into professional nursing. You will work on a 29-bed Hematology-Oncology unit (3NW/PCU-IMC) with extensive mentorship and hands-on training in cancer care, stem cell transplants, chemotherapy administration, and CAR-T therapies.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted at select locations.
• Current BLS certification
• No more than 12 months RN experience
• Previous healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care based on needs and policy.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities with the care team.
• Document care and communicate patient status to physicians.
• Provide patient education and evaluate outcomes.
• Participate in education and mentoring of staff
