Job summary

The Banner Health New Nurse Experience is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. This program provides a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships.

You will be clinically mentored on a designated unit and participate in multiple career pathways to reach long-term goals.

Qualifications

Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
BSN is preferred - open to ADN at select locations.
Current BLS certification, through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI, or ability to obtain before start date.
No more than 12 months of RN experience.
Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist new graduates to transition to a fully competent, professional nurse.
Clinical mentoring by unit staff and educators.
Placement in Banner Health facilities with structured mentorship for at least 12 months.
Rotate through 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
