Job summary

Atrium Health Union - MICU in Charlotte, NC is hiring an RN for full-time night shifts (3 x 12 hour shifts per week, 7p-7a). This 14-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit serves high-acuity adults, including sepsis, respiratory failure, post-arrest care and complex postoperative cases.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating care with the team, continuing education, maintaining EHR documentation, ensuring safety, and adhering to ANA ethics.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience (RN) preferred.
• BSN preferred; RN license required.
• Active BLS certification.
• Knowledge of EHR systems and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality initiatives and governance to improve care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Promote safety and effective team communication.
• May float to other units as needed.
