Job summary

Mercy Health's The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati seeks a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Telemetry Unit. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and help coordinate transitions from Med-Surg to ICU as you gain critical on-the-job experience.

In this role, you will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications safely, and contribute to improving patient outcomes while adhering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, not required.
• Current state RN licensure or RN applicant.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months.
• Experience as LPN or Patient Care Tech/CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and plan of care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policy and state practice.
