Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to care for patients in the Medical Telemetry Unit. The RN will collaborate with the care team, assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver medications safely while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

Candidates should have an RN license, BSN preferred but not required, at least 1 year of RN experience, and BLS/ACLS per hire requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Current RN license is required; BLS/ACLS preferred or required per hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop plans of care.
• Administer medications in a safe manner according to policies.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the department.
