Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH seeks a New-to-Practice RN in the Medical/Surgical unit to deliver compassionate patient care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with a multidisciplinary team while prioritizing teaching and safety for patients and families.

Minimum RN license required; BSN preferred. The role offers a 36-hour week with day shifts and opportunities for professional development within an inclusive mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment or compact license.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document complete patient assessments and maintain care plans.
• Provide patient education tailored to learning needs.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
