Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for the West Hospital 4W Med/Surg Unit. You will deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts, 36 hours weekly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess patients and develop care plans.

The role requires a BSN preferred, RN licensure, and 1 year of RN experience with acute care background; BLS is preferred, ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS (preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per Mercy Health policies.
• Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.
