Qualifications

• Graduation from school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the time of clinical care.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Coordinates and delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Participates in education programs and identifies learning needs for self and others.
• Engages with interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrates leadership and collaborates to promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Assess and plan care considering patient and family needs and discharge planning.
