Job summary

Duke University Health System – Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a New Grad RN for the Labor & Delivery unit. The unit comprises 17 beds, with about 200 patients monthly, and provides 24/7 in-house OB, neonatal, and anesthesia coverage.

Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for family-centered care and readiness to join a large, multidisciplinary team. Must have BSN or ADN with commitment to completing a BSN, current NC RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program or an Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma with licensure in NC.
• New graduate RN welcome; completion of DUHS Vizient Nurse Residency within 12 months.
• Current NC RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise full nursing care in alignment with the DUHS Professional Practice model.
• Participate in professional practice activities, committees, or research projects as assigned.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care in a level 2 Labor & Delivery unit.
