Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum. You will engage in governance activities, use the nursing process to assess and plan care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain thorough documentation in the EHR, uphold safety standards, and be prepared to float to different units as needed. BSN preferred and RN licensure required to practice in the relevant state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• BSN preferred and encouraged for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making.
