Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will utilize the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitor conditions, document accurately in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Must hold an unrestricted RN license with BLS certification; BSN preferred. Responsibilities include adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics and potential cross-unit floating to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in target state; multi-state or single-state license.
• Telehealth/tele nursing compliance per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and promotes patient-centered care.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
