Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care using evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per approved protocols.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific care and growth/development needs.
