Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within a fast-paced hospital setting in Georgia. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold a culture of safety across units.

Responsibilities include medication administration, accurate EHR documentation, and participation in governance and quality initiatives. Must maintain current RN licensure and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications.
• Coordinates with RN, LPN, and unlicensed assistive personnel for patient care.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care according to department policies.
