Job summary

Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at the University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. This 0.75 FTE, 12-hour night shift (7pm - 7:30am) includes every third weekend.

The role focuses on patient assessment, planning, intervention, and outcome evaluation across all ages, with emphasis on stabilization in emergencies. New graduates may apply, with required certifications (ACLS, TNCC, ENPC) to be obtained within specified

Qualifications

• ADN/ASN nursing degree and eligibility for MN RN license.
• Current MN RN license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are required or pursued within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all ages in the Emergency Department.
• Perform patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Monitor patient status with advanced monitoring equipment and safely administer medications and infusions.
• Respond to emergencies with resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative, improvement-driven care environment.
