Job summary

Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This casual .01 FTE role includes 12-hour day, evening, and night shifts in a fast-paced Level IV Trauma Center serving 32,000+ patients annually.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care for diverse patient populations, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to evidence-based practice while meeting MN Nurse Practice Act standards. Requires ED/ICU RN exp and MN RN license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ED or ICU RN experience.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team to develop a nursing plan.
• Develop an individualized plan based on age and other needs.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family and care team.
• Advance care using standards and care pathways; promote evidence-based practice.
